Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 14, 2026
1. Our Principle: Collecting Only the Essentials
Will You Go was built on the principle of Privacy by Design and data minimization. We believe that an invitation for a date or outing should be light and intimate, without the need for invasive registrations, social media profiles, or surveillance.
We do not require account creation, social login, or a password to create or respond to an invite.
2. Data Collected and Purpose
| Data | Source | Specific Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Guest name | Invite creator | Customize the interactive invite screen. |
| Creator's email | Invite creator | Automatic delivery of the confirmation containing the guest's choices and the access link to the response dashboard. |
| Choices (day, time, outing) | Guest | Record the schedule for display on the edit link and composition of the automatic confirmation email sent to the creator. |
| Payment Data | Payment gateway | Processed directly by the authorized payment institution. Will You Go does not store card data. |
3. Automatic Data Disposal and Purging
Unlike social networks that keep perpetual records, Will You Go has an active policy of expiration and deletion:
- Unpublished drafts: Are automatically deleted after 7 days of inactivity.
- Published invites and responses: Remain stored only while the link is active (30 days from link generation).
- Irreversible elimination: As soon as the invite expires, an automated routine deletes the responses and associated details from the database, with no copy retention, and the invite is no longer displayed.
4. No Sharing with Third Parties
We do not sell, rent, or lease any personal information to data brokers, marketing companies, or third parties.
The only strictly operational sharing occurs with:
- The financial processing provider (for issuance and settlement of Pix or credit card billing).
- The hosting infrastructure on secure servers with encrypted communication (HTTPS / TLS).
- The transactional email provider (Resend, Inc.), used strictly for technical dispatch of confirmation notifications and delivery of the access key, over an encrypted connection (HTTPS/TLS) and without using addresses for marketing or passing them to third parties.
5. Browsing Metrics
To understand which parts of the website work, we measure browsing with Umami, an open-source analytics software. Nothing is sent to advertising platforms or resold to third parties.
- No cookies: nothing is stored in your browser to recognize you on future visits. To count unique visitors within the same day, Umami generates a temporary identifier from your IP and your browser β it is discarded and replaced every 24 hours, and is not used to build profiles or track you across websites.
- No personal identification: we do not record name, email, invite content, or its address β the invite link is masked before becoming a metric, precisely because it carries the names of the sender and the recipient.
- What we measure: pages opened, visit origin, and aggregate milestones (an invite was published, a response was submitted), always without link to a specific person.
Any ad blocker prevents this collection, and the website continues to function normally.
6. Your Rights (Article 18 of the LGPD)
You, as a data subject, have the right to request at any time:
- Confirmation of the existence of processing and access to data.
- Correction of incomplete or inaccurate data.
- Immediate elimination of personal data processed, even before the standard expiration period of the invite.
To exercise any of these rights, simply send a message to our privacy channel: [email protected].
